Dr. Jörn Schmiedel

Jörn is a theoretical biophysicist whose research at the intersection of proteins, data science and AI has been recognized with a national PhD award, and has been published in top-tier scientific journals including Nature, Science, Cell, and Nature Genetics.

Since 2020, Jörn has leveraged his expertise to develop AI-based solutions for drug discovery, both as independent research consultant and as Head of AI at Ochre Bio, a successful biotech startup based in Oxford, UK.
